Terms of Service

These terms govern use of the EMOS IT SERVICES website and enquiries for products and services. A website cart or form submission is not a confirmed order.
Products and pricing
- All public website prices are displayed in Uganda Shillings (UGX). Approved numeric prices use whole UGX values.
- Products without an approved UGX selling price are marked Price on request or Quotation required. No unapproved currency conversion is used.
- Prices, product condition, specifications, and availability are confirmed before the order is finalised.
- Any applicable tax treatment, including VAT, is stated on the final quotation or invoice.
Quotations and payment
- A website enquiry is not a confirmed order. An order is confirmed through the applicable quotation, invoice, or written order confirmation.
- Payment method, deposits, due dates, and commercial terms are stated on the quotation or invoice.
- The static storefront does not process live payments.
Delivery and collection
- Pickup location, delivery area, delivery fee, and timing are confirmed before the order is finalised.
- Please inspect delivered products promptly and report visible issues as soon as possible.
Returns and cancellations
- Eligibility depends on product condition, supplier terms, licensing status, and written order terms.
- Activated software, subscriptions, customised equipment, and special-order products may be non-returnable once supplied or activated.
- These terms do not limit rights that cannot lawfully be excluded under applicable Ugandan law.
Warranty
- Warranty periods are stated per product at the time of sale; missing website warranty text must be confirmed.
- Warranty does not cover physical damage, liquid damage, or damage caused by unapproved power accessories.
- Product condition and any inspection or testing performed are confirmed in the written order terms before handover.
- For a claim, contact us with proof of purchase, serial number, and a description of the fault. Back up important data before assessment.
Services
Managed support, installations, and projects are delivered under the agreed quotation, scope, or service agreement. Published business hours do not create an after-hours or service-level guarantee.
