Product overview: The DJI Osmo Mobile 7 is a foldable three-axis gimbal that steadies your phone while you film. It unfolds quickly, balances a wide range of handsets on a magnetic clamp, and folds back down small enough to carry every day. ActiveTrack and stabilisation: Three-axis stabilisation using DJI's seventh-generation technology smooths out the movement of your hand and body as you film. ActiveTrack 7.0 recognises a subject and keeps the phone pointed at them as they move. Stabilisation reduces shake substantially, but no gimbal removes it entirely — very fast movement, running, or an unbalanced phone will still show in the footage. Built-in tripod and portable design: A tripod of approximately 67mm is built into the handle, so the gimbal stands on its own for interviews, group shots and static filming without a separate accessory. Folded, it measures roughly 179 × 95 × 39mm and weighs about 300g including the tripod and magnetic clamp. DJI Mimo tutorials and one-tap editing: The DJI Mimo app adds guided tutorials for people new to gimbal work and one-tap editing templates that assemble clips into a finished short video. The app is a free download and is not required to use the gimbal for basic stabilised filming. Battery life and phone charging: The 3350mAh battery gives approximately 10 hours of operating time under DJI's own test conditions, and recharges in roughly 2.5 hours from a suitable 10W USB-C charger. The gimbal can also charge your phone while filming. Real battery life varies with how well the phone is balanced, which accessories are fitted, how much subject tracking is used, whether phone charging is switched on, and the temperature and conditions you are working in — expect less than the test figure in normal use. Compatibility: The Osmo Mobile 7 supports many current iPhone and Android handsets within a phone weight of 170–300g, thickness of 6.9–10mm and width of 67–84mm. It does not support every smartphone. Confirm that your phone fits DJI's supported size and weight range before purchase — bulky cases, thick protective covers and very large or very small handsets can fall outside the supported range.
